Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

• Study progress (answers given, scores, weak spots, licence key) is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing site data removes it.
• Written answers you submit for marking are sent to our marking service and processed by Anthropic's Claude model to produce a mark. The answer text and mark are returned to your device. We do not store them on our servers; Anthropic processes them under its own terms and does not use API inputs to train models.
• Grading disputes you choose to flag are stored on your device until you copy and send them to us by email, at which point we keep the email to improve the mark schemes.
• Purchase data (name, email, billing country, payment details) is collected and held by Paddle, our merchant of record, under Paddle's privacy policy. We receive your email address and licence key to deliver access.
• Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, records standard request logs (IP address, time, page) for security, retained briefly under Cloudflare's policies.

What we do not do

No advertising, no analytics trackers, no sale of data, no cookies other than those strictly necessary for the site to work.

Legal basis

Performance of the contract with you (delivering the service you bought), and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and the questions accurate.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold, object to processing, or ask for portability, by emailing hello@vinexam.com. You may complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr). For data held by Paddle, contact Paddle directly.

Transfers

Marking requests are processed by Anthropic and hosting by Cloudflare, both based in the United States, under standard contractual clauses.
